The XL should be a good fit for folk aver 6’2 and with the hip belt being able to flex with movement, but keeping the backpack stable, your comfort is in good hands. The Delrin rods link to the hip belt and some have complained that after a while they begin to squeak. the easy remedy is to apply WD40 for a quiet and comfortable hike.
To the seasoned hiker, it may feels a little strange at first, but after a few hikes, the load should hopefully become a part of you and the strange waggle will be a thing of the past.
We give this a 4 out of 5 and the jury is still out about the Bioflex system. Without a doubt though, is the quality build and huge capacity this rucksack can take. Often a lot cheaper that dedicated long hike backpacks, we feel this is one to look out for.
