Karrimor Adult Urban 30L Backpack Review:
The Karrimor Adult Urban 30L Backpack packs a lot into a value piece of hiking kit.
Now, don’t get me wrong, but Karrimr is not the beast it used to be. I remember using Kaaimor both for footwear and backpacks, but that was many years ago and they cost a pretty penny too! Now they have gone mainstream with a well known high street store, the quality seems to have dipped alarmingly.
But so has the price, so maybe a compromise for that reason.
This Karrimor Adult Urban 30L Backpack would have cost 4 times as much a few years ago, but now it’s available at a very decent price. It’s hiking on a budget.
Saying all that, the comfort is still there. the padded shoulder straps feel safe and secure and the waist/chest strap does it’s job well. there are plenty of pockets to put all your hiking essentials and there are mesh bottle holders on each side to keep your bottle of water or insect spray.
The Karrimor Adult Urban 30L Backpack would be a good buy for school too, or even college, it’s big enough to take A4 folders and even has a padded section for a 15 inch laptop with a Velcro attachment to keep it steady. The little pockets inside should please any student.
For work, it’s ideal. If you just want to use it for your sandwich box, keys and spare jacket, it’s great. But id you want a stronger hiking backpack, we would suggest looking deeper.
At the price, you can’t really go wrong, but make sure you don’t pay over the odds. Amazon.co.uk seem to be the best place to find reviews and offer good prices, so check them out first.
So, on to our rating and we give the Karrimor Adult Urban 30L Backpack a 2.5 out of 5. This may seem a little low, but after a year, the fabric will start to fray ans then the zippers start to suffer. Also, the mesh pockets on the side do little; they are too small for an average sized bottle of water and tend to have pretty small openings.
Perhaps we’re being a little mean, but you get what you pay for and if you just want a carry bag to use as a workhorse and not mind getting the pack dirty, then this should do the job.
