The Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L rucksack is a highly durable, medium sized backpack great for everyday use or travelling.
Its lightweight construction uses honeycomb Rip-stop fabric, air mesh back pads and shoulder strap padding to create a comfortable, tough and versatile backpack.
Featuring a waist belt, chest strap and pack away rain cover as well as multiple pockets and hydration compatibility, the Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L rucksack is great for active use and travelling.
Rip-stop fabric– material is constructed with a cross hatched honey comb shaped thread running through it. This prevents a hole spreading into a large tear in the event of damageMultiple
Pockets– 1 large main compartment, 1 front zipper pocket, external and internal lid pockets, mesh bottle pockets all combine to create a versatile backpack.
Padded air mesh– cushioning for your back and shoulders, reducing pressure and with a mesh lining letting air flow through, it will remain comfortable for sustained periods
Compression straps– adjustable straps that pull the bag tight to reduce volume and to minimise movement of items within
Support straps– adjustable straps used to fasten and tighten the bag around the chest and waist areas to provide support and additional load transfer
Hydration compatible– the rucksack has a special hydration reservoir pocket, tube outlet and loop fastening system to contain a reservoir bladder pack.
Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L Rucksack Review:
The Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L rucksack is a great all rounder that probably prefers to be known as a day hiking rucksack.
There are enough pockets to keep day-hike essentials in as well as a rain cover, so rare in day-to-day rucksacks these days.
The straps are well built and comfortable and the backpack feels balanced and secure when on.
The colours are striking and really catch they eye, Mountain Warehouse are not afraid to produce proud and bright colours for their range, this purple one is a fine example!
There are mesh nets each side for you bottles, although they would have benefited from being a tad larger in size. The Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L rucksack also has a hiking pole holder which comes in very useful.
There maybe could be one or two more pockets, but that’s just our preference. There are two main compartments and a lid compartment, with inner pockets included in both.
There are only 3 colours available at the time of writing, but the purple backpack is a stunner!
This Mountain Warehouse Saker 35 L rucksack will be ideal for day hikes, work, college and even commuting because it’s very versatile, but for longer hikes or hike-thru’s we recommend a more dedicated backpack such as the Vango Sherpa Trekking Rucksack.
We give the ruckack from Mountain warehouse a solid 4 out of 5 for its comfort, style and build quality. It maybe could do with a couple of more pockets and better mesh water holders, but all in all a fine rucksack.
